Random roadtrip lessons:

1. There might be something better up the road but then again, there might not. Enjoy what you can, while you can.
2. The view when you reach the top makes the arduous climb worthwhile.
3. There is nothing as simple or as profound as taking in a scenic vista with total strangers. What a great way to feel connected to something bigger.

4. Life goes pretty fast as is. Take your foot off the gas once in a while and just coast.
5. Don't fret over bad weather. It's only temporary and you can't control it. The rain will always end.
6. The sun will never shine as bright or as warm as it will right after the clouds leave.
7. When the destination doesn't matter, the journey is beautiful.
